Terms & Conditions for SpanishLC/Cortez Method Class Packages

1. Purchase & Payment

  • Payment must be completed in full at the time of purchase.
  • Prices are listed in USD (or local currency if indicated) and may include applicable taxes and fees.
  • All purchases are final. Refunds are not available once a package has been purchased.

2. Validity of Packages

  • Each class package has a specific validity period depending on the size of the package.
  • Validity ranges from 6 months (for smaller packages) up to 2 years (for the 48-hour package).
  • The exact validity period of your package will be stated in your confirmation email.
  • Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period and cannot be refunded, credited, or extended (except at the sole discretion of SpanishLC).

3. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • All classes must be scheduled using the Acuity Scheduling system.
  • To cancel or reschedule, you must use the unique link provided in your appointment confirmation email.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before the class—or failure to attend a booked class—will result in the session being forfeited.

4. Instructor Cancellations

  • If SpanishLC cancels a class for any reason (illness, emergency, or technical issues), you will be offered an alternative time or a replacement session at no cost.

5. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students are expected to arrive (or log in) on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.
  • Missed time due to student tardiness cannot be made up.

6. Use of Materials

  • Any handouts, recordings, or course materials provided by SpanishLC are for your personal educational use only.
  • Redistribution, resale, or public sharing of these materials is prohibited without prior written consent.

7. Student Conduct

  • Respectful communication is expected during all classes. SpanishLC reserves the right to terminate sessions if a student’s behavior is disruptive or inappropriate.

8. Liability

  • SpanishLC will make every reasonable effort to deliver high-quality instruction but cannot guarantee specific results (fluency, exam scores, etc.).
  • Liability is limited to the value of unused sessions remaining in the student’s package.

9. Force Majeure

  • SpanishLC is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, technical outages, or emergencies). In such cases, sessions will be rescheduled where possible.

10. Agreement

  • By purchasing and scheduling a class package, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
